@Edendisplay I looked around and it looks like there are two separate parts for your device, one for the touchscreen kit and the other, the display panel, I've listed the universal part numbers below for your reference:
- 863833-006 - Touch Panel Kit - FHD ZBD IR W/BZL White, Fangio23
- 903192-001 - LCD Panel - 23.8, IPS, FHD, 250nit, AG, ZBD, BOE
You may find the above information on the HP Parts Store, for future references.

Hi thankyou for that info I have found various labels on the lcd panel that they are LG screens my question is is it the screen itself that's touchscreen or the digitizer panel both of which I'm struggling to source the lcd panel no is LM238WF1-SLE1
Hp dont sell either I'm happy to do away with the touchscreen side of things yet will still require the front glass ..

@Edendisplay The front glass is nothing but the LCD Panel, you will need to change both the LCD and the Touch panel kit to get your device and its touchscreen back up and running.
If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
