Horizontal lines on Screen

Does the issue persist on the BIOS page?

 

If the issue persists on the BIOS page it is a hardware issue with the display.

 

If the lines are not present in the Bios then it's more likely a software or driver issue. Let's try to update the Bios and graphics card drivers on your PC either from our HP support website, using this link or download it using HP Support assistant.

To download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.

Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.

 

I recommend that you review and follow the steps set out in the HP Support document: Display Quality Issues. I think you want to focus your attention on the section Solid horizontal or vertical red, green, or blue line.

sorry , after PC BIOS update the same problem persist. ( I-e screen flickers with horizontal lines)

Just wanted to check if the horizontal lines do appear when you're on the Bios screen. 

 

If so, then it's a hardware failure.
