Hello HP Community

I have a HP Monitor and a HP Laptop. I'm using a Lenovo ThinkPad to extend my HP laptop display to HP Monitor. First,  Is this possible ? I'm using this ThinkPad because I have another Lenovo laptop which is getting connected to HP Monitor seamlessly using VGA port (both Monitor and Docking station)

Situation:

The ThinkPad connects to the HP laptop through USB C Thunderbolt but does extend the laptop screen to monitor

I tried using the docking station Display port to HP Monitor HDMI port but still there the screen doesn't shows up

In both above cases, the display settings on HP laptop doesn't show any option in Multiple Display section

I have a working solution of using an HDMI cable between the HP laptop and HP monitor but I was thinking to minimize display and power cables on my desk. Please let me know if using the Lenovo ThinkPad docking station between HP laptop and HP Monitor is feasible.

Thanks

Vikram
