HP ProDesk 400 G6 Desktop Mini PC (9AG51AV)

I am constantly getting the following error messages on my 34f curved monitor.

Input signal not found

and

Display Port Inactive

I have to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in, cut the monitor off, and then I repeat these two steps over and over until finally it works.

Can anyone help me with this??  I have replaced the HDMI cable, checked all cables to make sure everything is plugged in properly, etc…

I can tell when I am going to have this problem.  My screen will have a blue haze to it.

What is the version of HDMI cable you are using ? What is your computer ? Does it have DP port ?

I have the HP ProDesk 400 G6 Desktop Mini PC 211V5UT#ABA.

I’m not sure what HDMI cable I have, it’s the one it came with.  It does have a DisplayPort.

thanks!

Machine has DP at it back/rear. From the specs of your machine, I can't find HDMI port, how do you connect HDMI cable ? Please use DP cable and ignore HDMI cable until you know which version of HDMI cable is.

It looks like my HDMI cable is made by GE

Do I not need to use a HDMI cable at all?

It does not have HDMI port, how can you connect HDMI cable ? Your monitor has DP port and your computer also has DP port. You can use DP to DP cable.
