Pavilion 500
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a Hp 27xi monitor with my Hp 500 tower. The monitor switches on but can't detect a signal from the tower.

I've tried DVI, VGA and various HDMI cables.

With repeatedly turning the monitor on and off, occasionally it will lock on to the HDMI signal and I can use my computer, but it seems to be getting worse.

As per advice I pulled out and reseated the video card to no effect.

The on button for the tower is starting to not work occasionally now too.

Hard reset did nothing, neither did removing all power including CMOS battery.

Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix?
