I have windows 8.1 current os and hPa desktop pavilion model number 27-no12a
i have circles that flash on the screen when using the computer and I lose control of the mouse which is a pain.
I have looked at the forum and have gone into device manager and checked for the latest version of the latest display adapters drivers. They come up as current on the Internet
i have today put the computer back to factory settings. To try to resolve the issue but it is still the same

Thank you for joining the HP Support Community
Let's check if the issue persists in BIOS.
Follow the below steps to boot into BIOS page.
1. Turn on or restart the computer.
2. While the display is blank, press the f10 key to enter the BIOS.
If the issue persists in BIOS this is a hardware issue.
If the BIOS page is working fine
Run the windows troubleshooter.
- Run the troubleshooter. When it's done, it's best practice to restart your device. Then check for new updates. Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update . Select Check for updates and install any available updates.
Click on this link: Download Update Troubleshooter for Windows 7 and Windows 8
Also, download and run the HP Support Assistant
