Hi @Ana3117,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP laptop's screen, touch functionality, and speakers are not working, it could be due to various reasons. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issues.

  • Restart Your Laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor software glitches. Turn off your laptop completely and then turn it back on after a few seconds.
  • Check for Physical Damage: Inspect the laptop screen for any physical damage such as cracks or liquid spills. Also, check the speaker grilles for any blockages or damage.
  • Connect to an External Monitor: If the screen is not working, try connecting your laptop to an external monitor or TV using an HDMI cable. If the external monitor displays your laptop's screen properly, it indicates a problem with the laptop's display or its connection.
  • Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can cause display issues. Go to the HP website, search for your laptop model, and download the latest graphics drivers. Install them and restart your laptop.
  • Run Hardware Diagnostics: Many HP laptops come with built-in hardware diagnostics tools. Restart your laptop and press the designated key (usually F2 or F10) to access the diagnostics menu. Run a comprehensive hardware test to check for any issues with the display or speakers.
  • Check Device Manager: Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager. Look for any exclamation marks or warning symbols next to the display adapter and sound devices. If there are any, it indicates driver issues or hardware problems.
  • Reset BIOS/UEFI Settings: Sometimes, incorrect BIOS/UEFI settings can cause display or audio problems. Enter the BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing the designated key during startup (often F2 or Del), and then reset the settings to default.
  • Check Audio Settings: Open the Sound settings in the Control Panel or Settings app and ensure that the correct audio device is selected as the default playback device. Also, check if the volume is not muted and turned up.
  • Perform System Restore: If the issues started recently after a software update or installation, you can try performing a system restore to revert your laptop to a previous state when it was working fine.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
