I HAD A VIRUS ON MY HP TOUCHSMART 610 DESKTOP. I CAN NOT GET MY TOUCHSCREEN TO WORK AFTER INSTALLING

I HAD A VIRUS ON MY HP TOUCHSMART 610 DESKTOP. I ORDERED THE DISKS AND WENT THROUGH THE PROPER STEPS TO GET MY DESKTOP WORKING. BUT EVERYTHING IS WORKING ACCCEPT MY TOUCHSCREEN

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

Make sure the touch options are enabled.

  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Hardware and Sound.
  3. Scroll down and then click Pen and Touch.
  4. From the Touch tab, make sure Use your finger as an input device is selected, and then click OK.
  5. Press the screen to see if it responds.
