Hi

Troubleshooting is here for your HP Compaq L2311c 23-inch Notebook Docking Monitor....

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-compaq-l2311c-23-inch-notebook-docking-monitor/5174656

What/Which desktop is it, specifically?

If in doubt please ask.

The Troubleshoot won't fix the problem. Don't waste you time.

It doesn't matter if it is a Notebook or a Desktop PC.

The problem is that there are still no Win10 Drivers for the UFX7000 USB Graphics. Only available for Win7.

OS Base provided some time ago some drivers (http://osbase.com/idisplay/) but they are garbage. Tried them several times with all the compatibility options.

HP need to fix this issue asap. Customers paid good money for this model and it is up to the to provide the needed drivers. Especially because the service for Win7 will end in a couple of weeks.
