HP 5750
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi. I have this old desktop I use for my grandkids to play the  Wizard101 online game. This old 5750 using  old GeForce 4350 card was just fine for that game. I made the mistake on the Catalyst Control center of updating a driver. After that I was missing the driver for the card. I had the disk for it, but it had no driver for windows 7. This old HP was a XP operating system. I purchased it from a computer shop, who sold me  and installed the video card. They had updated it to Windows 7 before I got it. I installed the original Nvidia HP card. The only thing showing in device manager is A standard VGA adapter. The HP Nvidia card is not showing. I downloaded the HP Driver for my HP from the HP site. It won't install because it prompts me, that the driver is not compatible for my operating system, which is windows 7  64 bit. The driver from HP is for a XP system. I tried to find a driver that would work for the original Nvidia card. I know it's not a good  graphic card, but maybe it would play the wiz game? I also downloaded from ATI AMD site a driver for windows 7 64 bit for the GEforce 4350 card. It was 13-9 version. The 4350 card is a ATI Radeon card. I used DDU to remove the old drivers what was left from ATI. I got it to install no errors one time, but it was not showing in device manager. I dont know how to force install  the driver to replace the AGP adapter? Should I just buy a new card with a driver for widows 7 64 bit? If so can you suggest one that will work. The 4350 card is a AGP card. It's a old card. I just want something that will handle the w101 game graphics, which have gotten a lot higher over the years. It will lag really bad on a system with weak graphics. I can't even open the wiz game now. I can load it, and when i hit play, all i get is white screen! I'm old and angry! lol Please help me! I can't afford a new computer right now. Thank you

Hi:

You can download the W7 64 bit driver for the AMD HD 4350 graphics adapter from the link below.

ATI Radeon™ HD 4350 Drivers & Support | AMD

What you can try is this...

Download and save but do not run the above driver.

Then download and install this free file utility.  The 2nd file at the top of the page is for 64 bit.

7-Zip (7-zip.org)

After you install 7-zip, right click on the AMD graphics driver file you saved.

Select 7-zip from the list of items on the menu.

Have 7-zip Extract to: and let it extract the graphics driver file into its folder name.

Once that is done, go to the device manager.  Click on the standard VGA adapter needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that 7-zip created.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.
