ENVY desk top
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have set my monitor to turn off after my machine is idle for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, my monitor goes off, and a "NO SIGNAL" message appears.

QUESTION: Does my machine go into sleep mode after 30 idle minutes?

Is that automatic?

Hello
what are you talking about exactly ..
You mention settings, for the monitor only from the latter's options.
Or you are talking about computer power option settings (windows settings)
Maybe both?
If you want your computer to be asleep, you need to change the settings in windows

In Windows Settings, I choose:

Turn off screen after one hour

     Sleep, I choose:

         Never
