I am wanting to play Horizon Zero Dawn on my PC. The Intel UHD 630 Integrated Graphics is providing 3GB of memory. Is there a setting that can be changed to increase the graphic memory? I upgraded RAM from 4GB to 32GB with no change to video. Do I need to install a dedicated graphics card?

hi

https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06110764

180 w power supply only, it will have to be replaced for a decent graphics card

lincs motherboard, possibility here

Power Supply Cross Reference for specific models - HP Support Community - 7483923

max 500w L5757-800

see the kb, of @old_geekster

Upgrade Video Card - HP Support Community - 7481981

https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/horizon-zero-dawn/19443

according to this it would take at least a gtx 1060

a gtx 1660 could do the trick, more recent, in French but see the graphics:

@Promethee,

Purchased a GTX 1650 Graphics Card on sale at Best Buy for $179.99 and a Thermaltake SMART 700W Power Supply on sale at $49.99, So I have a couple of questions. The card has TPD of 75 watts and system has TPD of 65 watts. PC OEM is a180 watt Power Supply (gold 90% efficiency), do I need to upgrade it with the purchased PSU? I am not going to be upgrading the system any further. PSU purchased specs are 24PIN Main Power Connection (x1), ATX 12v 4x4 PIN (x1), SATA 5 PIN (x6), PCi-E 6+2 PIN (x2), Peripheral 4 PIN (x5) and floppy 4 PIN (x1). Is this a compatible PSU?

Thanks.

HI,

Old_Geekster made the same recommendation as you. Placed an order from HP Parts for 500 Watt PSU. Returning the purchased 700 watt PSU and Graphic card to Best Buy without opening them. PSU is not compatible with this PC and since the PSU is being shipped, I can wait for the GPU to ship also.  Should i order the GTX 1660? Best Buy has it for $229.99. Or with the 500 watt PSU, would you change to something else.

sorry, i didn't see your answer
what I had answered, was good to show you that you could not install any power supply
Normally the one indicated must be compatible..
I advise you to wait to receive the power supply, in order to be certain that it is suitable, and above all, to check the available connectors..
in order to then order a graphics card with the correct pci connectors (6 pin / 8 pin etc.)
also check with the manufacturers that the graphics card can work with this power of 500w

sorry again, sometimes i don't get reply notifications
