Hi @usha_12,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.

Did you check if the adaptor is working fine?

Are you connecting to a surge protector or directly connecting to a wall outlet?

Were you getting any warnings to change the battery? Have you done battery calibration?

Try the steps mentioned below and see how it goes.

POWER DRAIN:

Please disconnect all the devices and cables connected to your computer including the power cable and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and connect the power cable back again and try to power on the computer.

CBR:

Press the Windows key and then followed the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.

You may Click here to check and calibrate your battery and keep me posted on the result.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
