Does an external monitor show anything? Borrow or use a TV with an HDMI cable.
See if you can get the bios to show up by tapping ESC once a second after you see the LEDs start to blink

Can you run diagnostic's?
Tap ESC after powering on and press F2 and see if an error is reported.
What happens if you flex the display or wiggle it?
Can you shing a light into the blank display and see anything? if your touch screen has a defective "backlight" then shining a light into the screen you can see the text.

Look for the part you need such as fan, cable, battery, etc.
If looking to replace a cable (for example) the HP part# is usually on a tag and the manufacturers part is sometimes printed on the cable. If no picture is shown then search for images of the listed HP part# and compare it to your broken part.
Once you find the part number you can search the internet for a vendor. Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, all have their own search engines.
Display Screen: Screens can have OEM parts such as LG, Samsung, etc. An HP part number may include the OEM screen plus mounting hardware which makes it easier to replace but sometimes harder to find if the system is older than a few years.
When you search for the part number be sure to include AliExpress as most screens are made in Asia. To find disassembly video
