Went to use pc only to find that the monitor will only have power to it for approximately 3 secs and then goes off again and seems like the system does not even boot up at all, as no fan can be heard starting up.
The only light that is on is the light on the back of the monitor which is directly above the power cord.
We have tried the following :
● Removing power cord from the back of the monitor , pressing the power ON ( start ) button in for 10 secs, plugging in the power cord again and pressing the Power ON button again. = NOTHING HAPPENS.
● On the keyboard we held in the windows button and the letter B at the same time whilst pressing the power ON Button = NOTHING HAPPENED/CHANGED.
BUT....
When we repeated the above step :
holding in the windows button and the letter B at the same time whilst pressing the power ON Button
AND CONTINUOUSLY HELD IT IN
We then noticed that the little light on the bottom right hand corner of the monitor then came ON and this light stayed on whilst we held these buttons in,
But as soon as the buttons were let go it then returned back to having a lifeless monitor.
To My knowledge there has been no damage to the monitor, it has never been dropped, knocked over or anything spilt on it.
Any help would be absolutely welcomed and appreaciated.
Thanks in advance for your time that you have taken in assisting us with our problem.
