@HPMiniman Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to know the maximum monitor resolution graphics card will support.

The computer should display the maximum resolution supported by the monitor.

Thanks for the reply but I need to know what is the maximum resolution the video card will support. I assume there is a maximum. Don't want to buy a monitor and find it cannot be supported.

@HPMiniman

I understand your concerns.

That will depend on which graphics card you will choose.

I would suggets you check the specification of the graphics card and compare it with your product specification. If both match. Then you can purchase a graphics card.

Some graphics cards will require more power. That time you have to replace the power supply as well.

I hope you understand.

Have a nice day!!

Thanks but that takes me back to square one.

I have checked the spec and I can only get as far as it is a Pegatron / Colti motherboard.

Neither the HP or Pegatron web site specify the maximum resolution the board will support.

Someone must know, does HP?

@HPMiniman

I understand your concerns.

In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check.

Or you can contact local stores in this regard. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

Have a nice day!!

Given up on HP.

This is the solution:

identify the processor, in this case Intel Core i3-4025U

Go to the Intel website.   https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark.html#@Processors

Select the processor type and hunt your way through to find it.

You will end up with about 90 lines of info which can be exported.

For the record, the graphics can handle 3200 x 2000 @ 60Hz.

Job done...
