HP27er
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP27er is connected to a docking and mouse keeps freezing. The laptop that it is connected to is working fine. When i restart it works for a few moments and freezes. I have updated drivers per WINDOWS 10.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824 (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
  • Have you tried connecting your monitor to your laptop or desktop?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

The monitors were initially connected to my desktop for 3 years and I had no problem. I have also tried updating drivers, tried different connections via USB. Only since I have connected a dock to laptop to the monitor... have i had isues of it freezing just on the monitor and not on the laptop .

Model numbers: HP 27er Product #T3M88AA and HP 27vc P1B75AA (using as dual monitor setup)

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the monitor physically. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
