Product: Hp w2338h

I have a monitor that I’ve been trying to use with my PlayStation 4 but after a bit the screen goes black and only audio plays I’ve bought a vga to hdmi adapter as I thought that was the issue but it still goes black what’s wrong?

@Jelloish I suggest you reducing the resolution of the PS4 device to ensure it matches the resolution of the monitor,

it seems the max resolution supported by the monitor is: 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz: click here to verify

 

If that doesn't work, please update the PS4 firmware and check with an alternate monitor, to understand if that works.
