Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I turned on my monitor this morning and NOTHING.  Just a floating message saying inactive.  I've unplugged it and plugged it back in, but that did not help.  I've checked to be sure everything is connected.  This monitor is just a little over a year old!! What's up with this?  I don't leave it on all the time.  I cut it off when not in use.  I need this TODAY!  Please help.

@PCT73 -- two thoughts:

1. connect it to a different computer, to see if the monitor becomes "active".

2. some monitors have multiple video-inputs: VGA, DVI, HMDI, DisplayPort.

If your monitor is "listening" to one of those inputs that is not "active", you get what you reported.

Use the OSD (On Screen Display) buttons to cycle through all the available video-inputs, trying to find the one that it "active".
