Mouse Issue

HP Recommended
HP mouse sm-2061
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My mouse which had been working fine with my hp desktop is not working.  There is no connection at all  The USB flash drive is connected to the computer; but there is no mouse connection.
