My hp pavilion x360 screen is flickering vertically showing red lines

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the display issue. 

 

Let's try a power reset -

 

1) Shutdown the computer. 
2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected. 
3) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds. 
4) Plug-in the Adapter. 
5) Try to turn on the computer. 

 

Check in BIOS for the red lines. To boot to BIOS - 

 

1) Shutdown the computer. 
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears. 
3) Press F10 once for BIOS. 

 

Also, try connecting the computer to an external monitor to see if there are red lines on the external monitor.
