Whenever I try to play a nintendo 64 game on my HP X24ih monitor, I need to change the aspect ratio otherwise the game will look stretched. When I go into the monitors settings by pressing the buttons on the bottom of it next to the power button and go to images, the option to change image scaling is greyed out and won't let me select it. Sometimes even when I can select the option it won't let me change the aspect ratio only the pixel for pixel and fullscreen options are available. Just to be clear I don't want to change the aspect ratio when on windows, I'm using a console that I connect to a monitor. How do I fix this?

This seems to be a known problem with a lot of discussions
https://www.google.com/search?q=set+nintendo+resolution
I have xbox and some games support only 1 or 2 resolutions. Not sure about Nintendo.
I read that there are settings on the Nintendo.
