Hi @TMT5,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
- Check the connections: Make sure that the monitor is properly connected to your computer. Check the cables and make sure they are securely plugged in on both ends. Try unplugging and replugging the cables to ensure a secure connection.
- Check the power source: Make sure the monitor is plugged into a working power outlet or surge protector. Try plugging in the monitor to a different power source to rule out any issues with the outlet or surge protector.
- Check the monitor settings: Make sure the monitor is set to the correct input source. If you have multiple input options (such as HDMI, VGA, or DVI), make sure you have selected the correct one for your computer.
- Check your computer settings: Make sure your computer recognizes the monitor. On a Windows computer, you can check this by right-clicking on your desktop and selecting "Display settings." If your computer does not detect the monitor, try restarting your computer or updating your graphics drivers.
If none of these steps work, it's possible that the issue is with the monitor itself.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
