Check warranty https://support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

some retail stores offer extended warranty.

The parts list for your system does not list a display but you might put your serial number on that page and see if a different parts list shows up.  I guessed for your product ID.

 

eBay shows prices in the $250 range

If you remove the case look for a Samsung or LG part and see if AliExpress has that part as they are made in Asia
