Pavilion p7-1154

I was trying new fonts and colors and wasn't happy with any of them, so I decided I would restore the original fonts and colors.  I followed the instructions on how to restore them but it didn't work.

These were the very basic instructions:

1)  Click on START button.

2)  Click on CONTROL PANEL.

3)  Click on APPEARANCE AND PERSONALIZATION.  Note: Here I had a problem since I had no such listing, so I just clicked on "personalization".

4)  Click on FONTS.

5)  In LEFT pane, click FONT SETTINGS.

6)  Click RESTORE DEFAULT FONT SETTINGS.

Easy enough, except when I got to #6 and clicked on the default font settings nothing happened.

So, what do I do now?

Hi @Muffers,

Have you tried restarting the computer after selecting Restore Default Font settings? Sometime's a restart is required to make necessary changes to certain windows files.

If in case the font's has not changed even after a restart, then try a system restore. Instructions on how to perform a system restore can be found here.

Let me know how it goes!
