I purchased a new monitor hp v27cgs curved and it will not display anything. It is now saying the hdmi port is active but it keeps going to sleep. Even after i move the mouse and it wakes up it still shows nothing. I have installed the drivers but no change. Do i have a defective monitor. Initially i had a hard time getting the power on. So i thought perhaps i locked it because the power would not come on. Now it does. I have spent a lot of time trying to get this monitor to work. It worked once and then no more.
