HP Envy Desktop 750-500
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hooked up New HP Mini in One 24 Monitor to 3 year old HP Envy 750-500. Monitor says it isn't receiving a signal. I am running from an HDMI connection on the PC to a DisplayPort connection on the new Monitor. How can I get the Monitor to recognize signal from PC?

@ Guardman Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the monitor can't get a signal from Envy 750-500.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.

This issue has occurred because the normal HDMI port gets disabled when the graphics card is installed.

Hence, you need to connect the HDMI cable to the Graphics card port on the desktop PC which is next to the port that you have connected.

Let me know how that works.
