All in One Touch Screen PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just purchased online an All in One Touch screen desktop computer.  Works fine but has a small circle (size of fingertip) carved into or maybe pasted onto middle of acreen.  Cannot find out the name or purpose of this small circle and if it can be removed.  When pressed it generates a menu; but it is really distracting,  One tech at HP support says it doesn't belong there another says it maye related to ebooks and can be removed for about $70.    Anyone have any information?

@DL733
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I understand the difficulty with the problem. Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I have a few troubleshooting steps in order to isolate the issue.

Step 1: Connect PC to an external monitor using VGA/HDMI cable and check if you're able to view the content on another monitor.
If the issue appears. If you don’t have an alternate monitor, I recommend checking if the issue appears on the BIOS screen

Step 2: Boot to BIOS:

  • Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
  • Turn on the computer and immediately press the F10 key repeatedly, about once every second.
  • Check if the issue appears on the BIOS. If the issue appears in bios, its hardware related issue.
