No power to the Monitor

Hello, I have an HP monitor that suddenly turned off and refuses to turn on and I hope there is a solution to this problem, because I am out of warranty.

I have the monitor plugged in to a good outlet with a good cord and it won't turn on, even the power LED light won't turn on. There's no indication that the monitor is getting power whatsoever.

Things I've tried:

1) made sure every cord is secured and tightly in place

2) switch to another outlet

3) switch to another cord

4) held down the power button for 30 seconds (plugged and unplugged)

Any suggestion or help is appreciated.

Used to new, the USD prices range from $80 to $120.  I suspect any repair by a shop will be more than that.

Once you get it apart you can look for damaged components or spot stains.

If you spot damaged part you might take the printed circuit board (PCB) to a tech shop to fix.

On rare occasions there is a part number on the PCB and the part can be obtained via eBay or AliExpress.

Thank you for the reply. I was hoping for an alternative fix than opening it up because I don't have the right tools to replace any capacitors or test anything, but I did open it up and saw no signs of any damages. I even unplugged and replugged some wires and connectors in hopes that it got loose somehow but nada.

I have a hunch it's the power jack that's faulty since the monitor is not receiving power at all, but I really can't do much with that right now.
