Palm rejection isn't working

HP Recommended
Hp pavillion x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I bought my Hp Pavillion some time ago and it did not come with a pen. Recently I have been doing more notes on my laptop for school and decided to buy a pen to make it easier to take notes. The pen works great but the palm rejection feature is not working. When I try to take notes on Microsoft using my pen it starts to pick up on my palm and it still responds to my fingers rather than just the pen.

@Carelessbird,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I recommend you refer to the below article to find the compatible stylus for your computer.

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05166879

If your system supports palm rejection technology, when the active stylus is in use, the touch screen does not respond to input from your hand. Wait approximately 1.5 seconds between using the stylus and using your finger.

If the touch screen responds slowly to input from your hand after you use the stylus, you might need to update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
