The monitor works when it has powered off for a while and then shows a blank screen in a certain of time. The power cannot be turned off until I unplug the power cord.

@danielincanada,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the monitor work after turning it off for a while.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Have you tested the monitor with a different computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver on your computer and check if it helps.

If you continue facing the issue, then I recommend you reset the monitor to factory setting by going to the front panel menu on the monitor.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!

I've tried both. reset the monitor and update the everything.

The problem is still there.

I have to unplug the power and wait for a day to be able to use the monitor again. How can I fix this issue?
