I got a Pavilion desktop back in March, and very recently I’ve been having a problem with its connection to my monitor (an old Vizio M-series M-MV); basically, even though both my computer and my monitor have been turned on, my monitor just displays that there’s no input detected. In the 6 months I’ve had this desktop, this has never happened before.
I’ve tried everything: using a different HDMI cord and hooking it up to two other monitors, and so far nothing has worked. I know it isn’t a problem with my specific monitor, because I have a Nintendo Switch hooked up to it, and it works just fine, and I even tried hooking up an old laptop to it and it worked perfectly. It’s really frustrating to think that my pretty new, well-kept pc is the problem, but it seems to be that way.
So, does anyone have any idea what might be the issue?
One last note: when I turn on my pc, I can hear everything internally start, and my mouse and microphone (which both have some RGB lights) start going, so I know that the computer is actually turned on.

you are wasting time here, to find a solution, which may not simply exist..
or, you return the computer to the seller, if possible, or contact HP for warranty support
