Pavillion p6622f PC Black Screen

Pavillion p6622f PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Computer rebooting fine. Keyboard works. Speakers work. Monitor seems fine. Tried different monitors w. same results. It displays screen resolution but nothing else.

I'm getting the Windows jingle. Can type the password and the computer is reading me back what I type.


What's the first thing you suspect, graphics card or something else?

Thank you for the detailed information. If the issue persists when connected to alternate monitor and the PC is able to read what you type, the issue could be with the graphics card.
