HP EliteOne 800 G6 24 All-in-One PC (9JE93AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have recently purchased a HP EliteOne 800 G6, the touchscreen is great but appears to easily scratch.

A soft rubber stylus is okay but I am looking for a stylus that resembles more of a pen with a pen tip.

I have had a bad experience with customer support, after explaining my situation on their live chat they told me 'there's nothing they can suggest'.

I've searched the web and could find no compatible products.

Can anyone provide a solution?

It seems crazy to me that HP would create a touchscreen all in one with no compatible pen/stylus.

Welcome to the HP User Community.

I am sorry you are disappointed.

Not all touchscreens support an active stylus.

Your computer is one of these.

True -

If a Touchscreen is not able to support the more sophisticated active stylus,

That Touchscreen will likely still support a passive / capacitive type pen.

For those reading

If you wish to do so,

If your computer has a touchscreen,

If an active stylus is not an option on your machine,

Consider a Passive Stylus / Pen

This is not the same thing as an active stylus, of course.

Passive pen works like your finger on the touchscreen.

If you cannot stand it,

If you are interested,

If your computer supports the option,

Consider a side "drawing monitor" that includes a pen option.

These might run anywhere from about $300 to over $2400.

@Dragon-Fur,

Question, isn't it true that capacitive touch screens such as on the HP ELiteOne 800 G6 Touchscreen are compatible with stylus pens such as: https://www.amazon.com/Stylus-Pen-EliteOne-23-8-BoxWave/dp/B09SGPFLZR/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1TUMJ1OUBH88Y&... or this one: https://www.amazon.com/Stylus-Pen-EliteOne-23-8-BoxWave/dp/B09S8FLP1X?

Just spit balling here, looking forward to your reply!

Kind Regards,

I should have qualified my answer - I generally do so.

There are no HP active stylus pens listed as compatible with this computer.

A passive pen type works like your finger on the screen.

It can be used to open Windows menus, for example.

Passive pens lack connection to the computer, electronics, pressure control, for example.

Search using keywords, for example "active stylus and passive pen difference"

Yes, a capacitive pen, regardless of whether it has a fancy smaller tip or the round tip,  would work.

Maybe that is all the customer needs, after all.
