Hello, I have an HP Pavilion Gamming Laptop Model 15/dk1043la / NVIDIA GefORCE gtx 1650 Ti

I want to add a monitor to my laptop but I don't know which monitor I should choose to get the most out of the image.

The specs of your machine is

          https://www.hp.com/cl-es/shop/notebook-hp-pavilion-gaming-15-dk1043la-3y7a8la.html

It has following ports which you can use for external monitors:

  • 1 USB Type-C® con SuperSpeed de 10 Gbps Velocidad de señalización (suministro de energía mediante puerto USB, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)
  • 1 HDMI 2.0

  • For USB-C port, you can get to maximum DP 1.4 specs monitor   https://www.cablematters.com/Blog/DisplayPort/displayport-1-4-vs-1-2
  • For HDMI port, you can get to maximum HDMI 2.0 specs Released in 2013, HDMI 2.0 increased the bandwidth to support 4K resolution at 60Hz, added support for 32 audio channels, and introduced HDR (High Dynamic Range) for improved color and contrast.

Looks like you can use 4K monitor with 60Hz

Regards.
