HP Touch Smart 610
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I am getting a constant bouncing of my screen with a bunch of lines at the bottom of the screen.  I have tried to solve the problem but resetting the BIOS to the default setting, and by looking at the refresh rate (60 is the only option for refresh rate). Is there a specific driver for this monitor ?  The driver that came installed is for a generic monitor.

@Tomandsherry I suggest you begin with installing the HP Support Assistant on your device and using the same to install all relevant Graphics card & BIOS update,

if that doesn't help, please click here to find and install the most recent update available for your device.

The driver installed for the monitor is usually generic, that's nothing to worry about, I suggest you check the above updates and let me know how that goes.

P.S: Welcome to HP Forums! 😉

Let me know how that pans out,
