Operating System: Linux

The screen goes black and do not respond after connecting to laptop having OS Ubuntu 18.04.

@Manikya , welcome to the forum.

 

The only drivers available from HP are for Windows 10: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-value-21-inch-displays/7274735/model/10402774.  I suggest that you go to www.ubuntuforums.org and ask the community if there is a driver for your monitor.  They are the experts for Ubuntu.  I have used the Forums for years and have always gotten an answer to my problems quickly.
