Microsoft Windows 11
  • I updated my All-in-One HP TouchSmart Desktop PC to windows 11 (about a month ago) & now it let's me log in & works then after about a minute screen goes to sleep.  If I hit the enter key the screen goes back on to login screen, let's me log in, works for about a minute then goes to sleep again.  Even if I'm moving mouse around or typing the screen goes to sleep.

It was working OK for a month then this happened?  If so then a windows 11 update from Microsoft  caused the problem.

You can review the update history and possibly uninstall anything recent

Here is a list of things you can try.

https://www.raymond.cc/blog/dont-sleep-prevent-windows-from-standby-shutdown-hibernate-and-restart/

Before doing any of the above I would go to "power, sleep and battery" settings and make sure it is all disabled.

If that does not work then we can start looking at driver / hardware issues or try all in the above url.
