Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have owned this monitor for about 10 months and i have not had a single issue with it until now. I was watching youtube on the monitor and decided to plug in my old android box into it and when I plugged it in after 5 mins, the screen was doing some weird flickering so I thought it was the android box since its quite old. I plugged back in my pc to the monitor and noticed that the flickering is still happening, when opening the settings options, that box is also flickering which isnt very visible on camera but gives me a headache. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Use the On-Screen Display (OSD) to adjust the screen. To access the OSD and make adjustments, do the following:

  1. If the monitor is not already on, press the Power button to turn on the monitor.
  2. To access the OSD menu, press the Menu button on the right side of the monitor or on the remote control.
  3. To navigate through the OSD menu, press the + (plus) button on the monitor’s side panel or on the remote control to scroll up, or the – (Minus) button to scroll down.
  4. To select an item from the OSD menu, use the + or – buttons to scroll to and highlight your selection, then press the Menu button to select that function (Factory Reset)

Note: If it is a hardware related issue with the monitor then the monitor needs to service.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
