Hi @rik121514,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OMEN 30L Desktop GT13's screen turns off during gaming and displays a "no signal" notification, there could be a few potential causes for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check the cable connections: Ensure that the cable connecting your monitor to the desktop is securely plugged in at both ends. Sometimes, loose connections can result in a loss of signal. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the cable to make sure it is firmly attached.
  • Verify the power supply: Confirm that both your monitor and desktop are receiving power. Check if the power cables are properly connected, and if necessary, try using a different power outlet.
  • Adjust power settings: It's possible that the power settings on your computer are causing the screen to turn off during gaming. Open the Power Options settings in the Control Panel (or the corresponding settings in your operating system) and make sure that the power plan is set to "High Performance" or a similar setting that prevents the display from powering off automatically.
  • Update graphics drivers: Outdated or incompatible graphics drivers can lead to display issues. Visit the official HP support website and download the latest graphics drivers for your specific model. Install the drivers and restart your computer to see if the problem persists.
  • Monitor settings: Check the settings on your monitor to ensure that it is configured correctly. Look for options related to input source or display mode and verify that the appropriate settings are selected.
  • Test with a different monitor or cable: If possible, try connecting your desktop to a different monitor or use a different cable to eliminate the possibility of a hardware issue. If the problem does not occur with another monitor or cable, the issue might lie with your original monitor or cable.
  • Hardware issues: If none of the above steps resolve the problem, it is possible that there could be a hardware issue with your graphics card, motherboard, or other components.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
