Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

2 monitors, connected to HDMI1 & HDMI2 at the back of the desktop. Only the monitor connected to HDMI2 works (both monitors, both cables tried on this, no problem switching between the cables/monitors, so have ruled out faulty cable and faulty monitor).

Can't identify / detect the second monitor (whichever is connected to HDMI1).

Only 1 display adaptor, and 1 monitor listed in device manager - scan for new hardware doesn't find the second monitor.

Have tried uninstalling the devices/drivers.

Any ideas?

If you continue facing the issue, then run a test on the HDMI port following the steps in the below article.

Thanks, updated the BIOS and the graphics driver as suggested, and the monitor reappeared on the system.

Happily back to 2 monitors!
