HP laptop and ACER monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to setup dual monitors for work at home. The cord on the monitor providing by work doesn't fit into my lap. The end of the cord on the second monitor has two rows of pins and it's bigger than the port on the laptop. Plus my laptop does have any holes to accept the pins.

Thanks!

In order to get adequate help on this question, please post the model number of the HP laptop and monitors expected to be connected.  That way I can look up the  devices to see what port types are in question and how to connect these devices.

Thank You
