HP Pavilion 23-h024 TouchSmart All-in-One Desktop PC (ENERGY STAR)

I have a HP Pavilion 23 and want to add a LG Monitor to it for an additional screen. How can this be done? What wires do I need?

There are generally two ways to do this, as there are two different connectors you can use.

All-in-Ones generally have an HDMI output port on the back.  You connect this to a monitor using a cable.  IF the monitor supports HDMI input, you need a dual-ended HDMI cable.  IF it has something else like VGA, or DisplayPort, or DVI-D, you will need an adapter to connect the monitor jack to the HDMI cable.

The second option is using a USB port and for that you need an HDMI-to-Video cable, with the video connector matching an input jack on the monitor.
