Hello everyone,
My Problem is that my Hp L1940T Monitor, wich I use as my 2nd Monitor, dosen´t stop displaying the Status Window after I turn it on. I have been using this Monitor for a long time and the status window never really bothered me as it normally disappears quickly enough but now it just sits there blocking the middle of the screen.
The only solution I have found is to unplug the vga input and plug it back in but while the status window is gone after that then I run into the problem of the menu button not working so I have no idea what to do to resolve this problem.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Could you please share the screenshot of the status windows?
Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thanks for the reply but the problem went away on it´s own after about 3 days. Still no idea how it happened and why it fixed itself but I have turned off the status window now so hopefully it won´t happen again.

Thank you for posting back.
This could be a software or driver glitch, some windows updates might have corrected the error. I would recommend regularly checking and updating the windows updates can keep your computer up to date and away from errors. Please feel free to contact us here anytime you need any further assistance.
Hope this helps!
