HP Touchsmart IQ500
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Touchsmart IQ500 all in one computer. The screen has weird colours, sometimes it goes away on its own other times I give it a wack and the colours return to normal. I was wondering what could be causing this. The computer if fine and nothing that I can see is damaged. Maybe it needs a new video card? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

@meddleman

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the display.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

Meanwhile, as you have mentioned that after tapping the screen the color comes back to normal and it sounds like a loose connection. However, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I recommend you check the display in the BIOS or by connecting an external monitor or a TV.

To boot to BIOS, restart the computer and start tapping the F10 key.

Let me know how it goes.
