Through thunderbolt docking set up, monitors are detected but not active

HP Recommended
HP Thunderbolt Dock G2/ HP Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have 2 monitors connected to the dock, and the dock connected to my laptop. All drivers are installed and up to date, all cables are connected properly. The 2 monitors show up in display settings but are grayed out and say they are not active. And the monitors themselves are on but say "no signal".

Worth noting, in display settings, each monitor says its connected to the intel graphics card. I option up the intel graphics settings and do the multiple monitor set up options there, but it automatically reverts back to single monitor before ever loading anything. I have NVidia GeForce but cant find the monitor settings in that control pattern. 

Please help 😞 I have been at this all weekend
