DESKTOP-F26LU5B
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer's touchscreen has stopped working, not completely though. I can touch the screen once every few seconds/minutes then I can't continue touching it until a few seconds/minutes pass. I've tried uninstalling the driver in device manager, restarting my computer, updating, running the troubleshooter, ect. I can't seem to get it working and i'm getting extremely frustrated. Help?

@Nefeliii, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

What is the exact model of HP product you are using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Model/product number.

Perform a touch screen diagnostic test in HP Hardware Diagnostics

  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the Startup menu appears, press F2.

  3. When the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics screen displays, click Component Tests.

  4. Click Touch Screen.

  5. There are two interactive touch screen hardware tests. Click Touch Pointer Test first.

  6. Read the on-screen instructions, and then click Run once.

  7. Share the test results. If the test pass, proceed to the net step.

Note: Refer to step 5 of this document for more info.

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same. You may also perform step 2 from the same document if not tried yet.

Also, check for Windows update.

Let me know how this goes.
