My HP 24-G014 is a touchscreen all in one desktop. It has the touchscreen control board of ILITEK but in CONTROL PANEL:

“no pen or touch input is available for this display”

I downloaded the ILITEK driver. The screen showed:

”this touch panel IC firmware update is for ILITEK only.

please ignore this firmware update and exit this program”

What can I do to make touchscreen function work again?

Hey Goodday11,

I dont know if this solves your problem, but I had an issue with my spectre x360 notebook. The touchscreen wasnt working and there was the same message with “no pen or touch input is available for this display”. I figured out, that the HID compliant touchscreen driver was missing (look in device manager -->input devices).

I tried many things and ended up in loading Driver Easy and update all my drivers. After two restarts it works perfectly right now. It seems to be a driver problem.

I hope this can help you 🙂
