I have a problem with the monitor screen freezing. It happens when I have something up on the screen when the monitor (not the PC) goes to sleep. When I come back and wake up the monitor, the screen is unresponsive. I have to click out on another tab and click back in to get it to respond. When it does respond, it doesn't refresh automatically. I have to refresh manually. I let it go to sleep while typing this and lost everything and had to start over.
After ruling out the keyboard and mouse, I originally blamed it on either Windows 10 or my new HP PC. Microsoft did some troubleshooting and couldn't fix it, but suggested I delete and reinstall Windows 10. I submitted a question to the HP community and did not get a solution. So I returned the PC to resolve either a Windows or a PC issue, and purchased an HP Pavillion. The problem did not go away. I have 2 other PCs. One is an older Pavillion with Windows 7 and the other is a newer Dell with Windows 10. Neither have the monitor freezing issue. The U27 4K monitor freezes whether it is connected wirelessly or by HDMI. I'm unable to hook this monitor up to either of my other 2 PCs as final verification because the Dell is an All in One and the older HP does not have Windows 10 or an HDMI port. Other than that, I've ruled out everything but the U27 4K Wireless monitor. Is this something that can be fixed in the settings or is it a warranty issue?

I've been working on this problem for over 3 months and have tried all the "helpful" information on the HP website. I finally fixed the problem last week by installing a different driver. The default driver was the cause of the problem.
