Hello community,

I'm trying to connect a display through the usb 3.1 type c in front of my desktop, but it does not work (nothing happens). Is this because the usb does not support DP alt mode? If yes, is there a way to convert it or not? My problem is that I have a monitor with mini displayport as input and a cable to connect usb 3.1 type C (which works perfectly with my laptop hp) to mini displayport (same cable does not work with desktop pc). As alternative is there some way to use the HDMI port (HDMI to mini displayport)? Thanks a lot for your support.
